Hotel Dobrava, Terme Zreče, Slovenia
March 16-20, 2005
Slovenian Biophysical Society kindly invites you to participate at the international Regional Biophysics Meeting, which will take place in the relaxing spa atmosphere of Dobrava Hotel in Terme Zreče, Slovenia, on the southern slopes of Pohorje mountain chain.
The conference will be held in late winter, when skiing is usually still possible in the adjecent Rogla ski resort.
The conference is organized in cooperation with Biophysical Societies of Austria, Croatia, Hungary and Italy and is based on the idea of a regional biophysical meeting, which stems from the first Italian-Slovenian Workshop on Biophysics, held in September 2002 in Trento, Italy.
Scientific programme will consist of invited lectures and poster sessions.
25 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion
poster session with 2 minutes oral presentation
A tentative time frame and the detailed scientific programme for the conference are available as PDF files.
The posters should fit into a rectangular area not larger than 120 cm (height) by 90 cm (width). Authors are advised to typeset the text large enough for the poster to be comfortably read from 2.5 meters distance. Adhesives for fixing the poster to the board will be supplied by the organizers.
A special committee will review the oral presentation, discussion at the poster session as well as contents of the posters in terms of original results and innovative presentations. The presenter of the best poster will receive an award.
Detailed instructions for preparation of abstracts are given on our web page. Deadline for abstract submission was December 26, 2004.
Book of abstracts is available online in PDF format.
Regular papers will be published through peer-reviewed process in regular issue of Journal of Chemical Information and Modelling (formerly ACS Journal of Chemical Information and Computer Sciences). Please see the author guidelines.
Deadline for manuscript submission is May 1, 2005. Manuscripts can only be submitted online via ACS Paragon System. In order to process your submittal quickly, please submit along with the manuscript a cover letter where you specify that the topic was presented at the Regional Biophysics Meeting 2005. You can use the provided template (MS Word format).
