Ultra low frequency electromagnetic field in function of rapeseed yield

ULTRA LOW FREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD IN FUNCTION OF RAPESEED YIELD Marinkovic, B., Marinkovic, R., Ana Marjanovic-Jeromela, Crnobarac, J. Ultra low electromagnetic field can have stimulant effect on yield and quality of cultivated plants. Four ultra low frequencies effect on yield and quality of three-winter rapeseed cultivars (Banacanka, Pronto, Falcon) were studied in this paper work. Optimal frequency was found for each cultivar. Just before sowing, seed was treated with the best four frequencies. Micro trial was conducted at Rimski Sancevi, on soil type chernozem in Research Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops. Grain yield of treated cultivar Banacanka (variant 11) was increased for 17.2% refer to variant without electromagnetic treatment (control). Mass of treated 1000 grains was lower for 0.095 g in relation to control, oil content was higher for 0.35% and test weight was lower for 0.7 kg. Cultivar Pronto showed the best results at variant 14, in relation to control, and difference between oil content was 1.46%. The rest of parameters were at the control level. Least marked were effects of electromagnetic field treatment on Falcon cultivar. Yield increase was just 2.8% and mass of 1000 grains at treated variant was higher for 0.08 g refers to control. Oil content and test weight were at the control level.
